Sorry, the PM in question is the Kenyan Prime Minister.
For those not knowing rugby further than these shores, an international 7s tournament, The Tusker Safari 7s, just concluded in Kenya. Making a surprise appearance on the final day was the Kenyan Prime Minister along with his Deputy. Now, this might not sound hugely significant over here where many of us are indifferent (or outright skeptical) to politics/politicians but in Kenya its a different story. This would have propelled the game/tournament to the front of the news headlines (all news, not just sport) and brought the game for a few seconds into the homes and minds of millions of Kenyans.
As for the crowd, you can always be assured of a fantastic atmosphere--plenty of beer (full strength), singing/cheering, and rugby.
Teams featured in the tournament this year were Fiji, Emerging (Spring)Boks, Japan, France, Zimbabwe, among a host of other teams. In the final, Kenya beat the Emerging Boks 31-12.
