Cricketer sues for shoulder injury
By Norrie Ross

SHIELD legend Jamie Siddons is suing Cricket Australia for compensation - because he hurt himself throwing cricket balls.
Siddons claims he seriously injured his right shoulder during the 2005 Ashes tour. The former ace batsman was Australia's assistant coach and would spend hours in the nets with the team.
He says his continuing shoulder problems are a result of being required to throw cricket balls on a "constant, repetitive and forceful basis''.
In a writ lodged in the Victorian Supreme Court, the former free-scoring batsman for Victoria and South Australia says he has suffered injury, loss and damage.
No figure has been put on the claim but Supreme Court actions can involve sums of several hundred thousand dollars. Siddons is now head coach of the lowly Bangladesh national cricket team.

Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
you have to be f**king kidding me??
Cricket to me is religion to me, and i dream of having a position like the one you held. I suffered a stroke at cricket training 9 years ago and you complain about throwing a ball?? You are a twat, and un-Australian. And can i question the "ace batsman" comment as well?? This is rubbish

Dear Sutherland Public School,
I am writing to inform you of my intention to commence legal proceedings with regards to the scraped knee I sustained while engaged in netball training in 1993. The injury occured as the direct result of the coaches insistance I get out of the goal circle and run around more Furthermore the severity of said injury was compounded by the inadequate playing surface provided.
This incident left my left leg permanently scarred and resulted in much pain and suffering, in the immediate aftermath of the injury as well as in the ensuing 15 years as I have had to deal with the disfigurement and it's impact on my self-esteem.
Now to find a postal address for that bloke in Cairo whose camel I fell off, tearing my rotator cuff.
Jeez
