Boks label Woodcock a cheat

Springboks coach Peter de Villiers has labelled All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock a scrummaging cheat as South Africa prepare for Saturday's rugby test in Dunedin without influential captain John Smit.
Smit, who is widely credited as the inspiration behind the Springboks' World Cup win, underwent scans yesterday for the groin injury he claims was suffered during Brad Thorn's lifting tackle that earned the New Zealand lock a week's suspension.
He is expected to be ruled out of the second Tri-Nations test and replaced as hooker by Bismarck du Plessis and as skipper by Victor Matfield.
De Villers went on the offensive yesterday, accusing All Blacks loosehead Woodcock of illegal tactics and boring in on Springbok tighthead CJ van der Linde.
The All Blacks, who held a clear edge at scrum-time, caused the "walking around of all the scrums by using their loosehead prop to scrum in and at times when he didn't scrum in he just came up", he said.
"That gave them the momentum, to come in around us."
De Villiers said he felt referee Stuart Dickinson had.....................
