Deans spreads the gospel

ROBBIE Deans' shake-up of Australian rugby continued yesterday when coaches from the 12 Sydney premiership clubs met him and attended Wallabies training.
It was a groundbreaking initiative from Australia's first overseas Test coach, who got down to the grassroots level of the game which has often been ignored. And 12 willing disciples lapped up the gospel of the rugby guru.
"I think he is a breath of fresh air, not only for the players but for the game in this country,'' Manly coach and former NRL star Phil Blake said afterwards. "It was great after having sat in some meetings where you listen to bull.....''
