does anybody know how many 1st chioce force players are likley to be on the team sheet this week against samoa?? i can't seem to find a force gold playerlist anywhere![]()
i should have read the fixture closer..
i have a funny feeling i just got tickets to see a whole lot of unknowns get bashed by the coconuts![]()
I would assume it will be based on the Gold squad that toured South Africa less anyone playing anywhere else at the moment...

Gavin DeBartolo

Josh Fuimaono
Luke Holmes
Brock James (vc)
Elliot Kuhlman-Hall
Ryan Lenegan
Kieran Longbottom
Chris O'Young
David Pocock
Zander Peden
Matt Shaw
Haig Sare
Brett Stapleton
David Te Moana
Ryan Tyrell

AJ Whalley
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Actually Coach, I think it is a stronger team than that with all but the Wallaby Force players (and possibly the Australia "A" four, Staniforth is in NZ anyway) and injured to line up.
From the ABC TV report the other night certainly Henjak is playing and he didn't go to SA and I would assume the Hilgendorf will be back as he played for Wests-Subiaco last week.
I'm just jealous I can't get down there to watch, unknowns or not and for your sake anti, you better hope one of those "coconuts" doesn't find you, that's a hell of an offensive term for a fantastic race of people you choose there!

I know that - I was off to find all the other playes not currently committed. You *might* be able to throw Welborne into that mix too ...Originally Posted by Burgs

A pretty handy side on balance I think but a good job the old horse can still pull on the boot for a bit of leadership!
Full marks to the two Ryans and Will Brock for making the Bench.
Also intersting that the combination of Hilgendorf and Sare is substantial enough to keep MacKay on the bench.
Another point of interest is that of Buatava (and Sare/Mailata?) who was reported as not to expect a contract renewal, perhaps a last chance to impress?
I still think the result here will be largely on who Samoa sends over but these fellas should give a good account for themselves anyway.

The full squad named for the Pacific Nations Tournament shows just how strong Manu Samoa can be however, whether all of these players will still be at the disposal of Michael Jones or if they had to go back to their European clubs only time will tell. It would possibly be better for Samoan Rugby if they have chosen a residents side rather than a full Test team to have a look at some more of the local talent coming through.
Manu Samoa Squad:
Filemoni Toleafoa (Montpellier, France),
Census Johnston (Biarritz, France),
Jeremy Tomuli (Bayonne, France),
Donald Kerslake (Vaiala, Samoa),
Mahonri Schwalger (Avalon, Wellington),
Muliufi Salanoa (Falefa, Samoa),
Daniel Leo (London Irish, England),
Jonathan Faamatuainu (Bath, England),
Pelu Taele (Otago, New Zealand),
Semo Sititi (Borders, Scotland),
Daniel Farani (Natal Sharks, South Africa),
Isaac Feaunati (Bath, England),
Ofisa Ofisa (Malie Sharks, Samoa),
Ulia Ulia (Marist, Samoa),
John Senio (Auckland Blues,NZ),
Garrick Cowley (Bay of Plenty, NZ),
Tanner Vili (Border Reivers, Scotland),
Douglas Sanft (Marist, Auckland, NZ),
Dominic Feaunati (London Irish, England),
Brian Lima (Bristol, England),
Anitelea Tuilagi (Leicester Tigers, England),
Seilala Mapusia (Otago Highlanders, NZ),
Alesana Tuilagi (Leicester Tigers, England),
Lome Fa'atau (Wellington Hurricanes, NZ),
Timoteo Iosua (Vaiala, Samoa),
Loki Crichton (Waikato Chiefs, NZ),
Lolo Lui (Moata'a, Samoa).

is sheps actually coming back to play? i would have thought he would stay with the wallabies team even though he hasn't been selected. if he is playing this is awesome news! might not get beaten after all.
and i hope welbourne gets the big cheer/send off he deserves. I'll be cheering so damn loud!
I made Happy sad...
sheps is in the 'A' team playing in Adelaide and Melbourne the following two weeks, he is not in the Wallabies squad at this point......I think?
yea it is nice to see the mayor of perth on the feild for another run, might be one of the last times we get to see him!!
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
yeah sheps was dropped from the wallabies for NZ but i haven't heard about anything more than that.
and about the mayor, i hope they make a big fuss over him. Bit of a shame his last force game wasn't at his home ground. We'll let him know he'll be missed. someones gotta keep the youngins in line.
I made Happy sad...
Lachy MacKay hasn't played much rugby due to injuries, and I don't think they want to ease him back into competitive rugby.
