Saturday was a warm sunny day in the SW and GS- a rarity at the moment- and saw three games being played. In the great Southern competition Narrogin hosted Katanning. Both teams looking for a finals berth, Katanning looking the favourites after their narrow 1 try win over the new look Narrogin side that now draws players from York!! Albany kicked their new junior rugby programme on sunday- its the future!!
In the South-West it was an interesting round as all teams are at full strength now and jockeying for positions. Collie missed out on the upset of the year when they narrowly lost Margaret River by a point- while down the hill in Bunbury the Bulls leaked a few tries to the Dungbeetles. It was the first run out at the Bulls new field at Hay park, the first time rugby's been played there for quite a while!! The Busso jets trained on sunday- but conditions couldn't have been more different from the day before as they get ready for their upcoming fixture! The weekend was capped off by the Wallabies great display of attacking rugby- with the Force boys leading from the front as we would expect!! Its all good!!
