Moving this idea of a touch 'team' for the summer away from the other touch rugby thread (I know that made no sense, but it's Monday morning):
Here's a poll to see if we have
a) numbers to get this going- the few associations I looked at generally wanted at least 10 registed players, to cover when people can't make various weeks
b) a day that suits people who are interested
c) some agreement on location (I'll leave it general for now, and look at more specific locations when we have a day in mind)
Also remember there'll be rego and game fees involved and in a few comps I looked at, we'll need at least one person available to ref other games too.
(This is intended as a tool to count those who might be interested, hence the absence of a 'not interested' box)
Even if your schedule is variable, please respond and once we see if it's something worth following through we'll iron out the details. Sorry, if you've already said you're in on the other thread!
The suckers so far:

Badger
Jono
Jehna

There is a very social comp held at Perth Bayswater on a wednesday evening by the golden oldies clubs and that is pretty fun to play in for a muck around. Throughout my experience i have found most other touch clubs try to be too professional and this will probably still be the case.
if this is in the summer (dec - feb) and if i'm not away then you can count me in
never played but worth a shot?! right?
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
it sure is FA
I haven't played reguarly in years, so long as you can pass and catch a rugby ball you will be fine

I'll be playing Thursdays at Rosalie in Summer (if shoulder is sufficiently well!) so would be keen to play another night elsewhere. Prefer a central competition - Bayswater sounds good to me cos it's just around the corner!
Laugh and the world laughs with you.......
......cry and you'll weaken your beer
i've played one game. about 2 minutes then i broke my finger. but it was pretty simple from what i remember
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
plus if I can teach Mrs Jargs to pass you will be fine.
(still gotta teach badger mind you)

If you're refering to me, i was either in Tom Price or Paraburdoo, or going through a messy break-up and had a few other issues to deal with mate...
I thought it was a great comeback from TEF, thats all....
I would've loved to be there, drinking and watching the show, i would even have a run but could have a cardiac arrest at any time....Hey, now i'm a single man again i don't need to get permission anymore, so i may be able to make JBs more often now...
