In other news, the NSWRU has lost Samsung as a sponsor. The group signed for one year only as sponsor of NSW community rugby and it is thought it wanted a greater exposure as a major sponsor and has gone elsewhere.
The NSWRU is still negotiating with Coca-Cola, although if that deal falls through it is understood that Mazda will upgrade its backing. Furthermore, IBM has also re-signed as a sponsor and HSBC's contract with the NSWRU runs to the end of 2011.

From memory, they're really great at offering prizes to supporters!!!!!
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
or board members kids....
Well if the post GF homecoming is anything to go by, 'Tahs supporters' may well be limited to the board member's kidsMight as well do what they can to look after the 'heartland'

As reportedly the largest single Union competition in the world, you would think it would be hard to get a larger pool of grateful people willing to support a sponsor?
They had a captive audience there, now they will be competing with everyone else via the media, a little strange for mine.

Maybe Samsung just had a sudden epiphany "How could we forget, everyone hates the Tah's" and that was the end of it.
Might be related (and therefore understandable), but my reading is it is of community rugby, ie suburbs?

not good at all....im sure our friends at GTT, will be able to shine some light on the loss of this major sponsor,
Wonder if they have to change the jersey?
its pretty old news, samsung was only a minor game day sponsor, mazda has already stepped up and is the sleeve sponsor for next year.
samsung, along with about 7 or 8 other companies were minor sponsors last year, signage etc, but wanted more than others for the same money, not really a problem, no jersey change needed, but in todays climate, never good to lose a sponsor!
Nice to see you WJ...where have you been?
Someone said you were test driving for Mazda?
RH regurgitating old news???? NEVER!!!
