I'd heard of this phenomenom before, but not being from here, I don't have that many 'perthed' moments myself, but I had a good laugh when I got a message from my cousin this morning.
I'm actually not sure if this counts as being 'Perthed' or being 'Shired' but anyway:
Now, as part of my crusade to educate the rest of my family about the wonderfulness of all things(as opposed to the bleh-ness of all things TAH, since the family are all in Sydney), I recently bought my nephews (it's a small family, we use the term loosely) each a force hat in special kiddie size, since apparently the middle one had been getting out in some adult-size bucket hat that came free with the sunday papers (thanks Jess
)
Anyway, got a message from my cousin saying thanks for the boys hats, they've been wearing them all week. They wore them up to the local Macca's on Saturday (McHappy Day) and who else was serving behind the counter but our ex-Force lad, Scotty Fava, who I'm sure must have thought he was seeing things. Anyway the boys were very excited to meet someone who'd played for 'their' team (even if they are too young to really know what rugby even is)

That's awesome!
haha great idea for a thread swee...this i guy i dated for a couple months...his brother dates one of my friends from softball (we'll call her twin number one) and their friend and coach of their baseball team is married to one of my other softball friends (twin number two)...but wait...nearly a week after we'd started seeing each other, one of my good friends came over to drop some stuff off and i was telling her about him and she goes," Oh is this such and such"....and i said, "Yeeeesssss...how do you know him?" and she replies, "oh him and my boyfriend play baseball together, theyre both in the same team"
Baseball therefore, has reinforced the notion of being perth-ed to me![]()
Skizzzz.... I like totally lost track of that....am I getting old?
C'mon the![]()

From the facebook group:
Living in dullsville Perth, there is not much to do except talk about who we might know. Actually, facebook is just an extension of this.
Perth's population is just over 1, 500, 000 people yet there seems to be about 2 degrees of seperation between us.
At least once a week Perth people are guranteed to discover they know a friend of a friend OR a friend of a stranger OR randomly meet someone from Perth in a foreign land.
So I twisted the meaning a bit. Thought it was funny all the same.
Its a good thing, i think. Even though im from NSW. Saw Boof Hardy and AJ at the day on the green on Saturday night. Thats a small degree of separation. They looked fit and they were enjoying a bevvie or two.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
OHH. Well. I have southafrican ones of those, but no Perth ones. Hehe.
That's so cute Swee!
I found a bloke wearing a force shirt at work? Does that count (Yes, that is an achievement in my book)? I nearly died of shock and told him all the force news. NEARLY got him onto TWF, but he doesn't have the net. But he is going to the 'saders game now and realised that the memberships need renewing. He really doesn't have the net... But I saved his life practically![]()

Two degrees of seperation covers the entire agricultural sector in Australia (and probably New Zealand), well virtually, (dunno about the tit pullers and hort types...) lets say the broadacre and pastoral sectors...
Boarding schools and ag college's are probably the greatest contributors, then B&S's.

one of my best mates mother went to school with my father, was friends with my aunty, played netball with my mother. Yet none of these factors introduced me to him
