Teams put too much emphasis on the potency of the haka… Its tradition, so enjoy the showmanship. It’s not the All Blacks secret tactical weapon… Teams need to focus on dominating the first 20 minutes against the All Blacks and avoid giving the All Blacks too much ball time…
The Welsh are regressing, just get over it and be a magnanimous hosts. Last time they met 2 years ago Welsh administrators tried to defuse the haka by scheduling the haka before the national anthems. The All Blacks just refused and did their haka in the team change room. Then went out and spanked the feeble ones 45-10.
Perhaps the Welsh rugby board could address all the booing from their stands and preach a little sportsmanlike respect to their bellowing horde…
