“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

Go get'em James! So proud of his young fella... just think, if we hadn't taken him under our wing, he would be stuck in QLD playing club rugby or something crazy like that. All coz of us, he's starting against the Barbarians tomorrow morning. WOHOO for James!

Blinder in the making, me thinks. Sigh... a good fullback. Feels almost strange saying that, after all this Cam-less time...

Drew HAS ben dropped from FB to the bench. DAMN RIGHT he was shocking last week at 15

But he should be covering the 14 jumper... not Turkey

I'm still deciding if I was possessed when I typed that, or if Drew was REALLY THAT BAD last week that caused me to type something so harsh.

OOHHH I get it. At the force!

Well, nope. Drew wouldn't be dropped. He's too good! He will cover 11, Cummins or DHP or Stanners at 14, with Cameron at 15. And at the 60 min mark JOC will come on and cover 15, maybe shuffling around each week with Cam moving to a wing and bringing a winger off. Unless Giteau leaves, then JOC will be getting a serious amount of game time inside.

too late robyn... youve opened a whole can of worms now!!!

glad JOC is playing although i prefer him at flyH than at FB... i guess im nervous of his ability under high balls especially after he got poleaxed by Nonu that time

Sorry Robbo, I hadn't seen the team list when I posted that. I didn't mean to mess with your head. BTW I don't think Drew was quite that shocking against Wales, It's not his fault nobody chased his kicks, he's one of three back there.

and he did spark the attack which nearly won the game remember!

After 78 minutes. Where was that spark earlier?

Haha, no, I'm just very easy to mess with. It's nearly the end of the year though, I have an excuse!

Drew played an old-AAC-esque game, which was dreaful. I'm a little confused about why Robbie insists with this game plan for the boys in 15. It has clearly not worked with two of his players now, of whom neither are normally so very shocking at FB. I am hoping that he doesn't try this with our James.

However, I do remember Drew was chasing strongly in the first half. I was content (which is what really matters), but he came out after half time and the chase just stopped. All of the back three just stopped. I think they should maybe have taken some initiative and started chasing after it clearly was not working. But it wasn't 78 minutes of chase-less-ness. See, in the second half Drew was kicking the chase-less kicks, but Digby/Lote/Drew ALL weren't chasing, but then Digby was also covered in margarine and throwing a forward pass (or two?)

However, I did rather like that funky little chase at the end by Drew. It was pretty wow-ish.

I think I figured out what I meant, Drew should have been dropped from FB to 11. Not to 22.
