Five emerging New South Wales club rugby players will join the Emirates Western Force for a two-week trial camp next week.
The five players, hand-picked by the Emirates Western Force coaching staff, will join the squad in Perth next Monday (8 December).
The five-man contingent consists of two forwards and three backs, with both forwards coming from the Sydney University club.
Back rowers David Fungalei and Trent Dyer will join West Harbour flyhalf David Paurini, Gordon centre Matt McDougall and Manly fullback Adam D’Arcy to train alongside the Emirates Western Force squad for the upcoming fortnight of the 2009 pre-season training programme.

Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
More back rowers and backs!?? WE NEED FATBOYS.
Only just came across this.
Sounds like a good initiative, should be more of it.
Win-win for the Force and club players alike I would think and who knows, some might just like the place enough to move to the RWA scene.
Be good to hear some feedback on how it is working out.
Oh for an ARC...
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Surely to God they must be talking to Ch10. The ARC lost $5M, some of which would be one-offs - dedicated access to thirty odd games a year of high level rugby MUST be worth at least that much to 10.
