Official announce to iiNet Staff today:

We’re very excited to announce that we’ve again teamed up with our good mates from FOX SPORTS to show a number of matches from the 2009 Super 14 season.
iiNet customers will get access to 46 On Demand matches that involve an Australian Super 14 team (no live games will be shown). The season is just around the corner, kicking off on Friday 13 February 2009.
Specific details on what we are offering are as follows:
- iiNet will only show matches that involve an Australian team
- All matches will be made available approx 8 hrs after the schedule live kickoff time.
- There will be minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 matches available in a round.

In addition, iiNet also has the rights to the New Zealand Provincial Championship (Starts last week in July) and South African Currie Cup (Starts late June). All matches are cost free to iiNet customers and are part of the Freezone so wont count towards monthly quota. We’ll be promoting this awesome service to ruby fans all over the country through online banners, magazines, PR and co-promotions with Australian Super 14 clubs.

Here's an early Valentines gift for rugby lovers - from February 13, the 2009 Super 14s season will kick off and make its way into the iiNet Freezone.

iiNet broadband customers will be able to access a stack of games including 46 on-demand matches featuring Aussie teams, all available approximately 8 hrs after kick-off thanks to quota-free viewing.
