Stirling Mortlock converted a late try from replacement back Mat Rogers to hand Australia a 20-18 win over South Africa in their Tri-Nations Test at the Olympic stadium in Sydney on Saturday evening.

Im afraid i think we went backwards in our development tonight. It was shite.
If i was a All Black sitting home tonight watching the game, id be laughing my leg off.

I think it was absolutely crap but I am optimistic that it was "one of those nights" rather than being a step backwards.
It seems that the kicking was planned to avoid their (Boks) notorious counter attacking however it was poorly executed and worse than watching paint dry as a spectacle
