Hasta la vista Pam
Castle was only a fill in anyway. Hoping Kieran Longbottom has a good club season and can step up more next year.
There is still a pretty good core to build a team around if they can do it right, here's hoping they keep an eye on the future and not just next season
Off the top of my head :
Longbottom
Takiari
O'Young
Cross
Daruda
Over the last few weeks I have had several offers to join the three other Australian teams, some offers have been very competative, with sponsership deals running into the millions and a super 14 final, However I've decided after looking at all my options I have decided to stick with the force for now.
So you can add me to the list!![]()
"Believe in the best, think your best, study your best, have a goal for your best, never be satisfied with less than your best, try your best, and in the long run things will turn out for the best."
Well done Lonzy!!!! I knew we could count on you!
Not so sure about Daruda - Perth Girl was chatting to him the other day at the pink
and he reckoned he didn't know what was happening yet.
They play for 5 months of the year and here we are half way through the season talking about where they are going.
Horua is rumoured to be going to Ulster
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
I had high expectations of Horua but I don't think he's really lived up to them that well. He had a lot of potential back when he was a youngin' and captained the U21 side but I think those years in Japan haven't done many favours.
I think we should look at this one as an opportunity for Tom Murday to come into the squad.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
i thought Daruda was signed for 2010?
the force would be silly to let him go, he is crucial to the sucession planning since Giteau is leaving.
What about John Mitchell I think he is the problem with trying to recruit talent lets get a high profile coach form Europe........ Tamaga!!!
i think pusey is leaving as well as daruda
yeah i heard a rumour that Pusey is on the move. i hope Daruds doesnt. he'll throw away a great opportunity since Gits is leaving
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
I can see Scott Durada leaving as he hasn't been given a go (not just at 10) but any other position, even when giteau wasn't here when we had the likes of Mackay and Hilgendorf he was still the 3rd man in line, but the door is open wide ready for him to take the jersey by the scruff of its neck next year, give him a go otherwise we'll lose another good player if given half a chance.
Also where Pusey rumoured to be going ?
Are these rumors based on anything (Brown, Duruda and Pussey leaving) or are they just rumors?
If it has got so bad that just about half the team is leaving, which it sounds like, the Force will be as good as dead!
Its time to start asking "WHY?"
If it is due to the coach, management, the committee then steps must be taken to correct the position.
I know that the ARU and WAR won't recognise it but we the fans are the equivalent of share holders. If they don't get it right soon they will not have fans turning up for games.I might as well stay at home and watch it on Fox, see the whole game, drink decent beer and just go to bed depressed and pissed and not stand on the train moaning about another pathetic display.
WA RUGBY GET IT BLOODY SORTED
whilst agreeing with your sentiments, the hardcore fans will turn up through thick & thin, after all we fought so bloody hard to get a team here. There still appears to be trouble at mill though & yes it needs to be sorted.
the move to MES is a acknowledgement of fans' views(or lack thereof) of Subiaco
I concur - when asking whose left it will be the 12000 of the hardcore Force fans that will turn up because we love rugby
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
