Wests 1sts play Joondalup 3rds in a trial game before the Force Vs Hurricanes game this Friday at Subi Oval. It's Joondalup's hope of one day being able to step up to Premier Grade. For Wests, it can only mean disaster unless they smash them. Wests 3rd grade will be playing Joondalup the following week in round 1.

Can anyone tell me how Joondalup went against Wests please?

Thanks, i was kind of hoping they, Joondalup, would step up and win. We played them last season and if they had won it would make me feel a bit better about losing to them 29-5 and then 54-0. I assume it is basically the same team.

Wests were way too classy for Joondalup. Wests outside backs barely had a hand laid on them. Wests are a very young team who will build confidence and momentum as the season goes on. They lack a bit of size in the forwards, but against Joondalup it didn't matter. Joondalup might find that they won't get things all there own way in 3rd grade either!

Also, there is absolulely no way Wests and Joondalup would merge. You have a short memory Fulvio - Wests have been the most successful Club on the field in the last decade winning 4 premierships in 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 - time for re-building, not amalgamating.
