Once a champion, always a champion.
We had every intention of speaking with former Wallaby and recently appointed ARU ambassador, Tim Horan, as part of our preview on Friday night.
Unfortunately, he was out at dinner and we couldn't get through.
I've just received a phone call from Tim, apologising that we didn't get to speak to him. He said he made sure he had his phone with him but must have been on it when our producers tried to call.
What a breath of fresh air to have someone like that take the time to call. In these days of professional sports people who seem to think the world owes them, Tim Horan remains a legend, on and off the paddock.
What a great win by the Force and thanks to all our pre game callers. Sorry to those we didn't get to speak to - it's a shame we only had an hour.
Cheers
Mick
Not good enough Tim, for this act , He must go to Albany, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Denmark , Geraldton and Busselton to promote the game in doing coaching clincs, fund raising for the Rugby clubs and heaps of media...then we might forgive him ....and he might be allowed back onto radio!
Tim's a true gentleman
Yes, he is a gentlemen, but still must earn our trust back!
