A full front row on the bench - teams must be starting to fear our front 3.
some of the names are new
its a very broken team gives us more of a chance
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Stormers are the under performers this year... Force need to lock them down quickly...
The Oracle has spoken.
gee still a strong team they have good depth.....watch out the Force .... how are our injuries going?
I dunno why rassie keeps Naqalevuki on the starting XV. If you've been watching them, this guy's pretty crap. Misses tackles and fumbles the ball heaps of times.
All the better for the force i guess.
It still looks like an alright team, no matter what they say about the injuries. De Villiers is a huge loss in the centres for the stormers and a big win for the force, but Peter Grant is pretty dangerous there. Looks like Januarie has lost his spot on the starting XV, wonder how his bok chances will be like.Chavanga is a pretty mean winger, as in he's a fast bloke. worried bout him.
still a good side but there some major holes there too... I heard Rassie has been poaching UCT players to fill the ranks...
Stupid question time, I notice Peter Grant is in the centres, what is his preferred or "better" position, is he a centre, if so why are the force talking him up to be the next giteau when we have more centre's than any other player...
But we only have one ball playing 12 and, if the Oracle is correct, only for 2more matches. Pretty sure he'd play 10, though. Also, he's unlikely to declare his hand until after the ZA squad for the lions tour is named.
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
His preferred position is at 10. However, with Jean De Villiers injured, they are lacking people in the centres. So Rassie has come up with the new combination of having 2 playmakers at 10 and 12. De Waal is a 10 as well, though not as good as Grant. But I think Rassie is trying to give Grant more space to work with the ball at 12, and just use De Waal as a backup of sorts.
