Ooohh.. What's this mean for Stanford?
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...
Courtesy of quality South African commentry
its a replacement for horua, looks like pusey with that beard
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
"Brown Dog" and "Dog", could get confusing...
he looks like a ginga
I dub thee "Red Dog"![]()
If he is a Red Dog, thats gotta make him a Cattle Dog

The gingers are taking over!
"Red Dog" is OK. If he's a cattle dog, we'd have to call him "Bluey" (proper blue, that is).
What kind of nickname is "Dog"?![]()
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.

Good that the young guys aren't getting scared off (TWF gags not withstanding)...
F**ing tall flanker.. almost 6 foot 6 inch (in the old term) nice to see the boys still want to come to perth, but we have more flankers and #8s than any other position.
How appropriate that I am reading this in Dubbo!
Perhaps my recruiting run is paying off after all!!!
Looks like a decent unit but haven't seen him play before.
Good luck Ben![]()
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
yeah he should enjoy some good bench time as he said it as to be better then playing curtain raisers before Tah games.
From what I have heard he is hyper aggressive and very much in the mould of Richard Brown. A touch taller and heavier though. He played with David Pocock in last years JWC. I'm pretty sure he has played a bit of second row in the Sydney club competition too. It's good to get another top young talent to add to our already awe-inspiring back row.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Good to see they r grabing talent early. What about another winger, fullback and 2nd 5 our backs are very lite on
We'll probably just get accused of pinching other states talent again.
What does this signing mean to Stanford? Pull your socks up!
