Nedlands v Perth
A recently resurgent Perth face late first round bolters Nedlands this week. Perth will, as usual, have horrific injury problems going into the game which will be mentioned in the game previews but will not be raised again unless Perth loses. Neddies will be showcasing their Force ring in Fairbrother and must fancy their chances after their awesome mauling of the kiddies from Wests last weekend. Perth by 5 points provided the boys lay off the piss on Friday night.
Kalamunda v Wanneroo
Now this will be a game. If Elwee was happy to have won six games out of nine last week he'll no doubt be ectatic to win six out of ten this week. Kala have found some big bucks in the last few weeks (did the defaulting sponsor finally pay up?) and have spent up big on half a dozen humungous forwards. Once again it will be KK's one man band against Kala, but Kala will prevail by 10 points. Must say I'd love to have KK in my team. Maybe next year.
University v Palmyra
University have the home ground advantage and Palmyra may be resting the majority of their forwards. Could be close, Uni by 3 points or a blowout, Palmyra by 30.
Rockingham v Associates
Associate, last year's young fresh team, which finished fifth from the top, should have few problems overrunning a dour, undermanned Rocky, despite Soaks also finishing fifth last last year. Soaks by 15 points.
Cottesloe v Wests/Subiaco
Will Wests field a team? I predict 25 to 0 to Cottesloe, Wests second lowest losing margin of the year.
Yes, some bastard did upset me today.
