Cottesloe gave Wanneroo a bath today, winning by some 30 points.
Brown was dragged after 20 minutes in the second half, a very ordinary performance by a so called super star.
Swanepoel was a good performer for Cott, but their best player was ther mini number 10, a pocket battleship.
Best for the Dogs was KK, but he tried to do too much himself, with little support.
The whole game appeared to be played at half pace, and on what I saw, Nedlands should have little trouble with Cott next weekend.
To be fair, it isn't Brown calling himself a superstar. What contact I have had with him, when riding high and also when suffering the consequences of bad press and questionable actions, he's always been pretty straight up about his lot when bad, and humble when good - he very much seems a 'salt of the earth' type bloke.
This of course has nothing to do with how well he played today.
Congrats to Cott on the win. Have Wanneroo been in contact regading the injunction yet, Fulvio?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
It was a slow game, a lot of kicking in the first half. Swanpool was the best player on the field, he gave great ball to the number 10 and then he had all the time and space in the world. Cott were completely lost when he went off.
Brown did ok, but he was not out there to win the game for them like the halfback.
I think neddies will win next week even if Cott still have force players.
Brown did little but Swanepoel made a huge difference.
At the end of the day an injury hit Wanneroo got well beaten.
As far as the Brown episode is concerned RugbyWA actually gave the dispensation under the wrong competition rule so the Dogs could appeal. Whether they would win or not, who knows, and how far do you go Fulvio?
What is of concern is that RugbyWA have now opened a huge can of worms.
Watch them change the rules for next year or risk a legal battle.
And by the way Cott. Did you enjoy watching all that grog go own the drain.
Taking beer to another club.Tut Tut Tut
Guess that's why you didn't do the right thing and have a beer with the Dogs and say thanks to Rocky for staging a great day.
That's almost as pathetic as Associates rolling up to Rockingham yesterday with their own barbecues and wanting to set up a retail hotdog stall.
When I was stung $7 or $7.50 (forget which now, have tried to repress the memory) for a stubby at a "south of the river" club (when I can buy exactly the same in a bar 1000kms north of Perth for $1.50) I only purchased one for the match.
People look to other options or to cash in when there is a market opportunity I guess.
"Bloody oath we did!"

you must have been drinking spirits for $7 which is pretty normal around all clubs if you can buy that for $1.50 could you please let us all no where cause that is cheaper than it is made for .Beer was the same as other clubs so there was no cashing in with high prices just a lot of hard work by a club.maybe next year your club 1000kms north of perth would like to host it !!!!!
Coronas are normally around $7 at nightclubs - maybe he was drinking them??
How many turned up? Couple of thousand?
He was drinking a Boags, yes a light beer, which is even worse.
I was asked if I was a member or not, don't know if there are different prices or she was just interested, but the tone of the question sounded as if I was being drafted.
The reference to distance was to do with the added road frieght costs attached to a beer that is around four times cheaper.

I heard a rumour that cartons of beer only cost around $7.50 to import (obviously by the container load) which goes to show how much money they really make!!
$7 for a beer is a bit rich isn't it???
Also, just in case you were wondering, Curtin won in a good match against Southern Lion, with a try in the last few minutes.
Curtin started strong, then fell away, with the match see-sawing. SL were in the lead at the half time break. Curtin came out strong in the second half, andm anaged to play almost all of it in SL half, but with only one try coming from all that pressure.
Congrats Curtin and cheers Southern Lions
Congratulations to Ash, Ross and the hard-working team at Rockingham for hosting a great weekend of rugby.
Appreciate you guys turning on better weather for Fathers Day!
