In a radical attempt to get supporters through the door, the Crusaders have cut the price of their season tickets by as much as 60 per cent.
Chief Executive Hamish Riach announced the news on Thursday following a slightly poor turnout for their recent 28-20 Air New Zealand Cup trophy triumph over Wellington.
A newly-renovated and enlarged AMI Stadium is the carrot for Canterbury locals and with a season ticket priced as low as $3.69 per week, it is expected that their plan will have the desired effect when the Super 14 season begins in February

Lucky for me my membership (Nickel) isn't due until after christmas. I actualy agree with jono for a change, there is no way I am going to miss out but my wallet wished RugbyWA was gentle![]()

I went with the standing membership. It's half the price of seats on exactly the other side of the ground and I actually rather enjoyed standing when I saw the Force in England. Plus when you might have to miss a few games and there are only 6 it kind of makes sense.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Waiting for it to hatch into 450 odd smackeroos![]()

Burgs with a diamond encrusted buttcheek - that would make a great christmas tree bauble!!

Rugby WA must be making a killing as the prices are the same or similar to Subi and I am sure the rental is cheaper somewhat be interesting to see.........
Well, the L.E.K Consulting report commissioned by the Force had them on track for a $2.8M loss based on the average 18,285 attendance. With only a couple of thousand more possible with a MEBS sell-out, we better hope they have got a good deal. But my recollection was that the total ground rent at Subi was $1.9M/yr, so it will probably still be thin times ahead.
