Looks like a great prospect
Filipe Manu
Looks 'ard
What is his pedigree?
Rookie watch Brumbies players.....
Andrew Smith - utility back
Pat McCabe - outside back
Jerry Yanuyanutawa -prop
Clinton Sills - winger
There is but even the Brumbies fans think he's a useless bogan and so they banned him.
Seriously though- who was the last quality prospect to come out of Canberra? I mean Julian Salvi was highly rated 4 years ago when the Super 14 started and where has he gone from there? I could name another half a dozen who have been a part of the Brumbies setup and gone nowhere.
Eth- Luke Jones is a great prospect by all accounts. He has that really punishing quality that is lacking in Australian rugby. We've got a lot of line-out specialist locks but very few Bakkies Botha mould locks and this guy seems to be a bit of that type. The tight lock instead of the loose lock. Might not be good for a year or two but will be a great long term guy if we can hold onto him.

Filipe Manu - known as ‘Flip’ - is of Tongan heritage, and was part of the Melbourne Storm set-up before coming back to rugby with the Souths club in Brisbane. After an impressive showing on the EWF development tour of the UK in 2008, Flip has now joined the club on a permanent basis.
Flip played club rugby for Palmyra in 2009, and finished second in the PG Hampshire vote count for Best & Fairest player in First Grade. His ‘little’ brother Sika represented New Zealand at the 2008 RLWC and is a fixture in the Storm line up.
He was also part of the Palmyra Sevens squad that went to Singapore
He missed 5 or 6 games of the local comp last year through injury, which makes his Hampshire medal second placing look even more impressive.
His cousin Nasi Manu used to play for the Crusaders but this season has moved to the Highlanders. Also a big wrecking-ball number 8. I think the pair came up against each other in last years Crusaders trial.

I hate Canberra
I hate all these parasites that live there as well
