    Elsom ruled out Brumbies' final trial

    Wallabies captain Rocky Elsom has been ruled out of the Brumbies' final Super rugby trial against the Waratahs in Canberra on Thursday.
    Flanker Elsom has a slight hamstring niggle, but is hopeful of being fit to make his Brumbies debut in their opening Super 14 match against the Western Force in just under two weeks.
    The Brumbies will also be without their other prize recruit, back Matt Giteau.
    The Waratahs will also be missing one of their major recruits, Wallabies outside back Drew Mitchell, who has a slight hamstring problem.
