The Big Screen should be right next to that scoreboard if they set it up anything like the Glory games.

I wouldn't be to worried about comparing last weeks crowd.
The reds wouldn't draw such a big crowd anyway
am i wrong?
GO THE FORCE!!!
The Reds wouldn't attract a big crowd, but I did think that there would be more last week. I think the ground will be pretty full this week.

I heard there would be two screens on the western side, either side of the grandstand.
The same game was a sellout against the Crusaders last year, so must have just been the reds no one bothered to come and see
I think we'd be close to a sellout against the Brumbies

Last year's game against the Crusaders was the one and only game to be played at MES that year.
Therefore, the interest to see a first class game was significantly higher than this year where MES will host 7 S14 games. Easy for many to keep their other commitments knowing there will be plenty of opportunity to watch a S14 game at MES.
My gutfeeling is we'll be lucky to get 18k average this year.
Bring in some screens and a decent scoreboard and then perhaps we'll be able to retain and attract a sizeable crowd.
If we did get an average of circa 18k then the atmosphere will be awesome.
Just happy to be here
Apparently they have only signed up about 10,000 members less than a week out from round 1.
only 10k? what did it used to be at subi?
It was 11k last year from memory.
I think alot of people ended up with seats that are in shitty spots compared to subi so they have cancled. I know someone who did anyway. Anywhere at MES has to be better then front middle at subi though
GO THE FORCE!!!
How is it, if they only have 10,000 members, there are no seats available to the public? The only ones they are selling on Ticketmaster are standing only

I don't see how that is possible.
Ive sat in virtually every corner of Members Equity, and the atmosphere and proximity to the field is far greater / better than any seat at Subiaco Oval in regards to rectangular fields. Subiaco is great for AFL; though, that's about it.

I think it's just the usual circumstance - People speculating about what might be, rather than simply waiting for game day.
