Hi all
From tonight, 882 6PR is trialling a dedicated half hour talk-back rugby segment. It will run from 7.30 till 8pm on the back of the normal Sports Central program.
Obviously the success of any talk back show hinges on the callers, so if you have an opinion and access to a phone, please call in on 92211 882.
If all goes well, this will be a regular segment every Wednesday night during the Super 14 season.
You'll find 882 6PR at 882 on the am dial and at www.6pr.com.au
Cheers
Mick Colliss
Or you could listen right here
If you use Firefox you can download a Media Player plugin from here
BTW - does the show have a name?
No name as yet. It was only confirmed today. It will just be a part of Sports Central.
Cheers
Mick
Seems Dunning will be on the show...
Still streamed from the same source - so it'll be just as free![]()
Dunning - sounds happy, no family here, but 300m from Subi hotel
Good job Mick, time flew by - no time for a call... See you next week.

Except for the part where they were lamenting the poor membership sales. Shoulda read TWF before they went on the air. Our intrepid reporter (Coach) revealed yesterday that there are only some standing room memberships left.Good job Mick, time flew by - no time for a call... See you next week.

It would be nice to get the real story on memberships. I suspect that the sales might not have been that special, but that RWA are generally keeping the spares back for themselves - remember, they had 6,000 gladhanding seats last year and wouldn't have been able to take anything like that this year. But if the membership sales have genuinely chewed up all the available seating, then that is a really important message to get out there - something along the lines of "We can't sell what we don't have, so when can we expect our new stand?"
Hi Mick,
Absolutly loved the poem in the Line Break magazine, any chance of putting it in a new thread for those far away to enjoy![]()

Thanks InnFORCEr. Glad you enjoyed it. It brought back some good memories. I'll see if I can find the original file.
Cheers,
Mick
