The game between the Tah's and the Sharks was just crap.
Towards the end I was barracking for the Sharks.
The Tah's did not deserve to win that game.
Some of the most boring rugby I've seen from NSW.
Last week they almost rolled the Bulls, they were awesome. I tuned in to see the continuation of the story. It just was not there.
Last year the Tah's played ugly boring rugby. I thought it was gone this year, but I was wrong.
You could see and hear the Tah's supporters were not happy with their team.
Being good gets you stuff
Being stuff gets you good
Yep, agree with those comments, I can't believe the public will continue to pay to see them play that style of timid rugby. With the playing talent they have it beggers belief that they continue to kick the ball away waiting for the opposition to lose it instead of playing attacking rugby and having faith in their ability to win it.
So far this season I tink the Reds , with all their woes , have shown the way to the other Australian teams on the field. The Force have been crippled by injuries to a number of key players and continue to search for combinations, but the Brumbies and Waratahs with a very talented playing lists are just limping home with some big names not showing much enthusiasm at times. It could be fair to say the Waratahs should be nil from 4 !
Maybe in 2011 , Japan and Europe will see more ex S14 players than we think.
Good luck Rebels, I think they may have to use their 10 foriegn players allowance for next year.
Good teams win ugly and stay in the comp util they click
The backs just haven't developed any combination yet.
The tactics were disappointing however
Controversy corner
Tahs are good to watch, especially when they are beating south african teams.
why don't some people just go and watch 7s? oh yea because its boring.
If every rugby game was "exiting" (lots of trys and no kicking), then games like the cheifs and lions would seem normal, scrappy games are part of rugby.
1)I love watching 7's... 2)Forward dominated games can be exciting.. 3)did you watch the Stormers Dominate the highlanders? now thats how its done!!
that game was rubbish...
I watched it after the reds and my golly gosh! i left at half time.
not so much the tactics on my part, just the shitty skills on show. tom ?carter? had a crap game,
It looked like the back line had never played together, they couldn't hit the line at the right time, palu had his usual mittens on, so he couldn;'t catch a ball...
shonky rugby...
I thought the Brumbies-Lions game was a massive snore until I saw the Waratahs-Sharks game. Yaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Mind you, I could have really done without an 80 minute whinge-fest on the subject from the commentators....very unprofessional.
Suspect the refs from both games will cop some grief on review, especially Walsh.
