I've got a couple m3 of concrete to lay - do I do it by hand (ie Mixer) or get a truck in? Alternatively - any actual granos out there looking for some weekend cash workWhile I'm at it - a roof carpenter might come in handy too ...
Mini Mix
3m? Don't do it manually. Mixing concrete "by hand" is horrible work (although we've got good weather for it at the moment). 2nd TG's suggestion - Mini Mix. Pre-mixed providers will bring the big truck around and charge you by the amount.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.

Anyone with a strong back can pour it. Just make sure you have someone finish it who knows what they are doing.
Make sure you tie her down before you pour, nothing worse than a limb floating to the surface!
Just happy to be here
Thanks for the tip, TEF![]()

I got a reg'd builder coming to check things out next week ...
BTW - 2.4 cubic metres of concrete delivered was gonna set me back $520, you'd be a mug to try and mix that yourself at that price!
Damn TLH took all the strong young boys from the site.![]()
