Im calling on our newest man with sublime moderating skills to put the kybosh on this!
One of my fellow innFORCErs has a ear to the the ground with the,he was chatting with a player today re, how they are going, do you think we will beat the Tahs on Saturdy etc.The said player mentioned that the Tahs are heading off on their Northern Hemisphere tour next Monday! Is this a furphy? If not 2 implications, that the Tahs wont give a tuppy stuff if they lose and is this a giant cock up by the ARU who desreve reaming if this is true!
False

Too many things don't add up for that to be true. A few off the top of my head:
Obvious one first, APC final.
Recovery time between events.
Team selection - Can't select a team to take over there if you don't know how they've recovered from any APC injuries.
Just doesn't make sense.. They left last year on the first Monday in October so I can only assume this is close to being the case again. The guy was probably joking. Like saying the Kiwis have booked their flights home from the RWC just after the semi.

Hope your right Sage.We were gobsmacked when told tonight at JBs.Even though our man has impeccable contacts and isnt a bullshit merchant.
Oh I don't doubt the validity of the source, just the claim itself.. Just sounds a bit too far fetched.
But you never know I guess.

Nah, they'll hang around for months after the RWC....
Apparently it is true by the way, touring party departs on monday.
People abound are now secretly hoping the Tahs make the final so their depleted side gets smacked around for 96 points...

Doesn`t that worry anyone, about the sincerity of the aru, or is it the Tahs??? Why play if you really don`t give a toss...thats what it looks like to me any way...
Well with all due respect, the Tahs (and Reds) end of year tours were here first.
But it's a worry, I'd never ever say we've got too much rugby, but the calander needs to be worked out a little better.
If they new their schedules beforehand, well it seems even more disrespectful to the notion of playing in the APC at all, knowing the finals would be on after leaving for end of season tour...Totally makes a mockery of the whole thing really..."with due respect"
It certainly does...
Don't know why they bothered.
