Are there special kicking tees for juniors?
I mean their balls are smallerso I'm wondering if there are smaller tees and, if so, where do you get them?
Who's equipment are we talking about? I'd say your tee and your balls should be in proportion to each other, although I've heard others say the size of your tee doesnt really matter, it's how you use it. Just ask Giteau ...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
That's what I was thinking.
Here's the problem:-
We have a Gilbert Walla Junior rugby ball and a son who want to switch to AFL because he finds it easier to kick the Sherrin.
In an all out effort to prevent the switch, the idea came up to get a kicking tee to make it easier and further encourage a love for our great game!
I've looked on Gilberts website, there are different tees but I couldn't see any specifically for smaller balls, so to speak.
Sand!!
i am on the lookout for a smaller tee as well actually...
the only tees i can find are for sizes 4 or 5... none available in any local stores for sizes 2 or 3 balls
i think im going to have to make one...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
We used to just drop kick conversions until we started using full size rugby balls.
I suppose you could get a tee that uses a rugby league style, where the ball is more horizontal than vertical. Virtually any ball can be kicked like that.
I would guess the lack of a size 2 tee would be because there's no kicking in walla rugby. I would expect them to be manufactured, but probably a special order in Australia

My young en uses the green, blue and the adjustable green and blue ones by Gilbert. Even with a small signature ball and it fits on ok. We've got rugby posts in our front yard that he practices his conversions and drop goals.

You could probably make a smaller one, it doesn't need to be an exact replica as long as it works.
Just happy to be here
Here's a pic of the tees by Gilbert. The ball in the middle is a small kids signature type ball that can easily be kicked off the tee. The ball next to it is full size to show the difference in size of the balls. The smaller ball won't hurt his foot when he's kicking either. My boy used that ball and still does every now and then until he could kick with the bigger ball. I'll take some pics of the posts and put em up on here as well.

Why not "borrow" a orange traffic cone from a road work site and do a little work with a sharp knife. Should be able to make a tee to fit any ball.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
What every house with rugby loving kids needs.
Mrs WRF's rose bushes had to be removed recently as they were interfering with the game.
Mrs WRF must be a patient woman!!
I'd be a little bit worried about the window directly behind it.
