In a move to shock the rugby world, All Blacks sensation Sonny Bill Williams is set to announce that he is stepping into the boxing ring for his third professional fight. The fight is believed to be taking place in 2011 just months before the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in September.
Williams, who controversially walked out on the Bulldogs in 2008, will hold a press conference tomorrow at Tony Mundine's Redfern gymnasium to outline details of the upcoming bout.

I doubt they'll put a decent fighter in front of him. It'll be some overweight heneverwas looking for his 7 minutes of fame in an attempt to tag $BW before the lactate makes him a sitting duck 90 seconds into round one.
Perhaps Gigs would like a shot at the title?
Controversy corner
I'm actually surprised the NZRU let him throw such a clause into his contract
All of his fights to date have been a complete joke. And i think the trend will continue.
Saw an add on Foxtel advertising SBWs' up-coming fight against Scott Lewis being shown live on Mainevent 29th Jan.
This is only 3 weeks before the first round of the S15. I cant understand why the Crusaders would allow him to risk injury so close to the start of the comp.
Maybe they don't rate him and see it as a way of getting out of the contract...
