KEEPING a website with more than 500 million members ticking all day is a daunting task, even for Time Magazine's Person of the Year.
But intermittent problems accessing Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook.com has resulted in many angry users.
Facebook subscribers have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration over the social networking site going offline for hours.
The question posted on Twitter by Josh Elliott from Perth said it all: "Facebook, why aren't you working?"
Wven Villegas wrote: "Still exiled from Facebook, missing my friends. Universe fix this."
Glenn Dunks took a leaf out of the Hollywood blockbuster, The Social Network, tweeting: "How is Facebook *still* down? Come on Zuckerberg! Justin Timberlake didn't become your friend so you could sit on your arse all day!"
