Wallabies winger Lachie Turner will start at outside centre in a revamped NSW Waratahs team to play the Cheetahs in their Super Rugby match on Saturday.
Turner will be making his first appearance as a centre in Super Rugby, replacing the injured Rob Horne for the Sydney Football Stadium clash with the battling South African outfit.

I wonder what is going through Ryan's mind now, leaving us to get more exposure to Wallably selectors at NSW, with our injury list he could have been making a name for himself here, and is warming the bench there, even with an injury or two on their side.
I was sad to see him go, and it may the young Cummins if he carries on the way that he is going that sees a Wallaby call up.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
I wasn't sad to see him go. He lacked heart and team spirit in the last season he played for us. I was also a bit insulted that he said he left because he thought he'd have a better chance of making the Wallabies with the Tahs.

Yeah was a bit of a slap in the face. Sucks he's been benches though. But it's the same scenario as the force. Only he can change it

I think what you were trying to say James is:
"Could Cross be Cross about leaving now"
Who gives a shit!
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Wasn't all that sad when he left. He never really made the transition from League in my opinion. Only made the Wallabies due to injuries to Mortlock and Ioane as direct opponents and indirectly due to AAC going to full-back. Never really impacted for the Wallabies.
Nah i disagree somewhat...
he had a good transition from League in his first year with us and his hard running style was a breath of fresh air, he had a reasonable impact for the Wallabies as well. 2010 season though was a diff story, he had a serious form slump, he was no longer hitting the line hard enough, was too one dimensional but most critical was his decision making... poor or slow choices in his rush defence and poor slow distribution were the keys in his downfall. Inman was/is/was of a similar build but showed far more heart and commitment and was quick thinking to boot, no wonder he was pushed out of his favoured position...
Crossy had some great games and was good for the Force in those first three years. He made the transition pretty fine, but he is a touch limited as a player. I think its an attitude thing.

I was thinking about this the other day actually. I didn't care a whit about him leaving, but it'd sure be hand to have a super rugby experienced backup for Mitch

he may come back... on a short term contract.....agree with all above I thought he was lazy, if he plays again watch him. He will get tackled and meander back to position of hang around....
is there a reason we're laughing at him now?
like i said, feel for him not being in the starting 15.
he just hasnt been able to shake a huge form slump.
crossys got the same problem as giteau, his abilitys not matching his ambitions at the moment. offloaded both at the right time i say...
Ryan Cross still plays Rugby?
