    Its important to remember that many players are off contract next year from all provinces. The Force can shop around and sign a few talented guys looking for a run.

    For example the Reds look to have more talent than bench space. Players will travel for opportunity.

    If the Force group can pay they come and play.

    As much as I would hate JOC to leave the Force, he's one hell of a player and any team would be lucky as to have him..

    A player with so much talent at some point in his career is going to get sick of being in a losing team..

    Perhaps we can get Cooper to come over and keep him company

    We could very easily be sitting on 4 wins at the moment if we didn't butcher it against the Reds, Rebels and Blues. That would have us mid table. We have been pretty unlucky with our backrowers these last two seasons- last year it was Pocock and Brown out in the first game for half the season. This year its Pocock and Hodgson. And thats not to mention fly-halves too.

    If we hold on to most of those Wallabies, we'll be a very solid team next year.

    What else can you say? We'll be good the year after? We will be good in 4 years time? We will be good in 10 years?

    Gotta try and stay on the thin line of optimistic realism. The beauty for us is that time is always our friend. We aren't like the Bulls, for example, where a bunch of star players are about to either retire or take their European retirement option. Our players are young and dynamic. Plus with each passing year local players are helping us to be more and more sustainable.

    Tournaments, whether it be Super Rugby or World Cups or whatever, are always won by teams with a fairly high average age (or at least fairly high compared to the Force's). You'd want your average age to be about 27-28, while we are closer to 23-24.

    I like the ...glass half full, than half empty approach. Christ i supported Swan Districts WAFL club forever and we had seasons of getting belted and coming last for years.Strong hardcore group of supporters through thick and thin and still attract the biggest ground attendances even now. things always work themselves out.

    i think some perspective needs to be had... we could be bottom of the ladder (although i know that counts for little in the new conference system) we could have had our Coach fired (could still happen i guess) and have a committee dictating how the team is coached.... We could have lost OConnor last year... amongst others...

    We are not the only team struggling this year.. The Canes are playing some of the worst rugby ive seen them play and they are loaded with Allblacks... its not all doom & gloom guys... weve lost three games in a row last year we lost 6 on the trot if i remember rightly?
