Training intensity needs to lift: Moore

ACT hooker Stephen Moore says the Brumbies need to be more intense at training if they want to eradicate the simple errors from their game and start performing.
The Brumbies have a bye this week and will fly to South Africa on Saturday for matches against the Free State Cheetahs on April 30 and Durban Sharks on May 8.
Moore is one of four injured big-name players set to return to the squad.
Without Moore and Huia Edmonds, the Brumbies' lineout struggled in the team's loss to the Western Force last weekend.
But Moore said stand-in hookers Anthony Hegarty and Elvis Levi were not to blame for the set-piece woes.
With the game in the balance and pressure building, errors crept into the Brumbies' lineout and allowed the Force to steal a 27-19 victory.
''It's a combination of things. To the untrained eye it looks like the hooker's fault, but there are a lot of things that go into the lineout, there's the calling of the options, the lifting and the throwing,'' Moore said.
''For most of the game [against the Force], most of those things were a little bit out.
''Our execution has to be better right across the board.
''... We have to make ourselves accountable for the mistakes we're making, as individuals and a group.
''We have to train like we want to play, we need a training session that's as close to how we want to play a game and that means not making errors.
''You can't expect to make errors during the week and then hope that it comes together on the weekend, it's just not going to happen.''
The Brumbies will get a major boost to their lineout stocks today with academy lock Sam Carter expected to be upgraded to a full-time contract.
Carter will sign a two-year deal after impressing the coaches with his work during the pre-season and with the Brumby Runners.
The 21-year-old plays for Sydney University and will attempt to force his way into the regular Brumbies rotation with Mitchell Chapman leaving for Japan at the end of the season.
