That Ben Perkins does not mix his word hey bro's
This is an email which was sent recieved and acknowledged by WRFU
I write for sportsbetting.com.au and have gained a load of laughs
about calling your team the Slugs because of your ridiculous away
strip... I honestly think you are totally insane wearing such rubbish
and it hurts your team enormously... the thinking behind your decision
is beyond any belief.. you have a wonderful strip in the black and
yellow.. you are destroying your team.. I am about to write about the
coming game where I wish to know if you will be wearing the slug
uniform or not.. it affects my whole attitude to the game...
Most sincerely Ben Perkins Please wear black and yellow as it does
not clash with any jumpers I know of very often.... please wake up and
make a decision that makes sense for your players... it has a terrible
effect on their mind set.. they must feel like idiots wearing such
rubbish..it is so obvious it is like the SUN.... I am trying to help
you, and stop you being a laughing stock... which is what you are
"becoming."
