We finally flushed that little JOC blowjob so can now pretty start to focus on post RWC season 2012.
Because he has been a total douche in protracted negotiatons we now have to start a little behind the 8 ball in terms of a Backs system.
As you know I firmly believe Dick Cunning is a belter of the highest order, but he is growing on me as the team grows with him.
So what do we expect for season 2012 keeping in mind that technology probably won't have caught up to Sheps injury collection by then and in a lot of ways are starting fresh. Which is good.
So, finals? or a rebuild year?
Fista, feel free to ignore this thread buddy.

middle of the pack again... Red and Tahs will be strong again but the Tahs have losted a few players and will need to recruit hard as well.. better than this year but not by much
This to early to call without a full squad...

Hopefully a fitter injury free start to the season for our starting lineupHopefully challenging the Tahs for 2nd best Aussie team.
Mid field, probably around 8 or 9

Yeah I would wager on about 8th or 9th. We were one good win off coming 9th this year and how many did we throw away? I doubt we'll have a good enough backline to make the finals, but we should definitely put a few more of those close ones to bed. We will have a more stable squad than we did in 2010 and 2011.
You'd expect the Bulls, Hurricanes and Brumbies to be significantly weaker teams next year. All three teams are losing a lot of star players. It'll be interesting to see how all the teams do in the competition post RWC, though.
Having said that, it would be hard not to tip all 6 of this years finalists being there next year.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Depends on who we get. Best scenario top 8.
I think the Force have come a long way this season - if we sign a decent centre and wing then I'd say 6th.
We've been competitive in so many matches. If we can avoid key injuries and learn how to close out matches, top six, but still behind the Reds in the Australian conference.
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
I think the Australian conference will be extremely competitive next season.
The Rebels will have an exceptional backline, and provided they can find a couple more decent forwards, they will be very competitive.
The Brumbies have finally found a quality coach and that will mean that they will be much better. Having said that they are going to lose Giteau, AAC, Elsom and Chapman - that will hurt.
The Tahs are losing Mowen, Barnes, Baxter and Waugh, but will have a full year of Vickerman and are picking up AAC. They should be up there again, especially if they can find a decent playmaker.
The Reds are going to be very good again. I think they will be the team to beat across the board.
If we can find a decent outside back and a playmaker, then we are going to be more than a handful for oppositions - and I see that Stade Francais is collapsing, so Paul Warwick might be interested in coming back to Australia, or Felipe Contemponi may want a shot in Super Rugby before the Argies come down here too. And there is another Argie fullback in that team, Rodriguez. Dont know much about him.
But I can see us 3rd in the Oz conference, and somewhere between 6th and 8th
Toby lynn will make a difference in terms of hard nose physicality
Not convinced about Mala'afu(fitness) so need another prop, Fairbrother a huge loss
Need Corey Jane or someone of his ilk
Definitely need a try scoring center a la Fruen./Nonu/Smith/Fourie/La Grange
So in a nutshell shore up the tight five to help Sharpie out and a couple of class try scoring backs
Then, maybe then the Forc can sneak into the 6
same position as this year .. Oz conf is still way behind the other two
