Port Elizabeth - Western Force coach and former Wallaby assistant Richard Graham is in the Friendly City this week and lending a helping hand with the Eastern Province Kings rugby team.
The Kings will play a friendly match against Free State in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday night.
Graham is here on invitation from Kings coach Alan Solomons to help the local players hone their skills.
"It's always important to exchange ideas with other coaches - and I thought Richard will be able to contribute something positive," said Solomons.
Graham joined up with the Kings on Monday and will also help out at the Kings Academy this week.
"We'd like to bring him out more often so that he can also coach at some of the schools in the area," said Solomons.
Graham had only helped the Kings in three sessions by Tuesday afternoon, but was already impressed with what he had seen.
"In the first place it's refreshing that an experienced coach like Alan Solomons is still willing to expose himself to something different," said the Force coach.
"I could also notice in my short time here that they are building a winning culture."
Graham previously also coached at Bath and Saracens. In his playing days he represented the Queensland Reds and Australia A. He also captained Australia's sevens team for a long time.
Solomons would like to stay in contact with the Force. He believes that friendly matches between the Force and Kings will be a definite possibility in the future
