The Australian Schoolboys have defeated the touring Samoan Schools team by quite a convincing margin. The match, being played at Ballymore (QLD), saw a tight contest, with the teams going into the half time break with Australia up 12-6. The Samoan team, after the break, began to fall away, with Australia running in five unanswered tries in the second half. The Samoan team tried hard all match, hammering away at the Australians' countless times, however the defence of the Australian team showed its class and organisation, giving the Samoan's limited opportunities.
Emirates Western Force recruit Brett Stapleton had a great day at the office, ending up with two tries under his name.
The next match for the Schoolboys is against the New Zealand Schools team at Vikings Rugby Park on Saturday 8 October.
