Gaffa, I have come to realise that, when it comes to contracts, half of what you read is bull and the other half's all shit...

Matt was fairly open at the end of the Reds game when we chatted to him, he already mentioned that he was off to France.
Good luck to him and all the best, he played his part for us, while not always scintalating on the field, off the field he seemed to be a good source of inspirations to the younger team members.
Matt, thanks for the effort you put in and the memories and making the switch West

Awwww, Dunning, all the best. You've been fabulous over here for our scrum and again, I'm so sorry that I used to be a 'hater'. I think it had a lot to do with being in the proper shade of blueGood luck!
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

It may have been the early openers that got him over the line. Bakeries, that is.

Au revoir: Matt Dunning
Biarritz have been dealt a blow on the eve of the new Top 14 season with the news that former Wallaby prop Matt Dunning is leaving the club.
Dunning has been diagnosed with having a serious spinal injury that requires surgery and a number a months recovery.
As a result the Basque club and the 32-year-old Australia prop have decided to terminate their contract by mutual agreement.
Biarritz open their Top 14 campaign against Toulon on Saturday.
poor bloke..
i wonder at what point the injury was sustained, i remember Dan Herbert saying that the French club rugby scene was a bit of a minefield when it came to trying to get financial compensation/support for injuries sustained whilst playing/training there.
Jeez, that's shithouse.
Poor bastard will be Michelin man now!

yeah, i used to be a hater, but man, whe was great for the force, he ran hard, and put in big tackles, didn't collapse the scrum all the time.
sorry to hear about the injury. Best of Luck!
