There had been talk of Battye leaving so its good to see he is sticking around and also that he has been promoted to the senior squad.

I would say no if we could get Tim Bennetts.

Chambers strikes me as one of those guys who comes over thinking he will be great and it is everyone else's fault that he isn't. He had a bit of a whinge when he came over to the Reds that Berrick Barnes was moving on and that really gets to me- players who think they will only look good playing outside stars. He didn't look good in a Reds side that won the competition so he probably isn't worth our time. I suppose you could do worse though.

He's a bit of an injury liability as well.

Besides we need a winger or two rather than centres.

Sidey, Dellit, Cummins and Stanley would be competent at 13.
Sidey, Stanley and Fairbanks competent at 12.

A winger and a 10/12/15 type player would be better value.
