It's quite refreshing to see these "50/50" calls actually being called accurately.
You mean 50% of the calls go for the Wallabies and the other 50% against the Boks? I can live with that.

Laurence has also come out today saying he missed the Pietersen's run infront of JOC conversion attempt, and that he should have awarded JOC another kick at goal..

Everyone is so quick to jump on and blame the ref for SA's loss.. Pure and simple tho they had opportunities and couldnt convert.. If you want to talk about Bambam's hands in the ruck why dont you talk about the boks diving over the ruck or the knock down by habana.. (which in any other game would have been a yellow card.. - not a two handed attempt and the ball progressed straight down)

Simply put the refereeing wasn't the best, things were missed on both sides.. Gracious losing anyone?

Does McCaw deliberately knowingly cheat? if the ref is letting him get away with it then is it really cheating or playing to the ref.. ?

Pocock is an honourable player, his work ethic is second to none.. Would he deliberately cheat.. no i dont think so, Does he fight for the ball a little too long on occassion.. Yes probably.. and fair enough if he gets blown for it.. He accepts it.. but i believe bam doesnt deliberatly cheat. There are just as many times he's had hands on the ball and players not releasing that go uncalled as there are times he may try and fight that little bit too long..

I don't know how he could miss one player sprinting towards the kicker but I think this is something that they need to watch.

Kicking is going to be crucial in deciding these last few games and players have been charging the goalkickers early alot from what I have seen. Also on penalty kicks I have noticed the players all standing still whilst the trainer or water boy runs around in front of the kicker, how is this allowed?

Just watched the game over the last couple of morning before work, Pocock was awesome, he was getting some serious attention from Burger and Du Plessis, who are probably two of the filthiest players in world rugby, but fair play to Bam, he just shrugged them off and got on with the game, also wondering what De Villiers was saying to Poey when he had his hand round his throat when play had moved on in the second half

...and then some, Batto. Laughable that the 'Bok fans are whinging that it was the Wallabies got away with murder at the breakdown when this sort of thing was going on.

I have watched all the games and remember a player being binned for playing at a players face with a flat hand ( Samoa V SA ) and got a red card.. I cant see anything different here Burger raking at pococks Face with his finger and he got wawy with it... So SA yes be upset with the REf but it flows both ways the REf was Crap but if reffed properly theresult would be the same

Bryce Lawrence lets stuff go at the breakdown. Therefore the Wallaby game plan was not to play our typical running game as the Boks would inevitably slow the ball down. If we didn't have that terrible ref as the South African fans have said, we would have played more expansively and probably beaten them with our fitness.
