Wallabies forward Nathan Sharpe has agreed to extend his career for another two months, enabling the 104-Test veteran to compete in the inaugural Rugby Championship which features former Tri Nations teams, plus Argentina.
Coach Robbie Deans confirmed this morning that Sharpe will be available for Australia's six Tests in the Rugby Championship following the hamstring injury to James Horwill that is likely to result in the Wallabies skipper missing the rest of the season. Sharpe will not be available for the spring tour to Europe in November, but lineout jumping will be a big asset to the Wallabies in the coming months, particularly against South Africa.
Sharpe was due to retire at the completion of the Western Force's Super Rugby season next month

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Great news.
And a nice turn around from Dingo. Now he needs Sharpie!
May the FORCE be with you!
So with this continuation is he destined to become Australia's highest capped forward??
He is sitting on 104 with 105 this weekend.
Then what if picked for all the Rugby Championship games 6 more caps so ends up on 111 one more then George Smith our current highest forward.
Then Deans is cheeky and picks him for the Bledisloe cup game in Brisbane taking him to 112 and his final game on Australian Soil?
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Be great if he did SG.
