HODGO!!!!!!!!![]()
Definitely not!!!!!!!!!
Why would you want to burden him with the captaincy when he has such a high work rate?
I'll throw one out there, someone we can build the team around for the next 10 odd years - Charles.
Who in his right mind would want to pick up that poisoned chalice?
The other Super Rugby teams in front of you and the RWA Management and Board behind you!
has to be a flanker, # 8 or scrumhalf...so he can get in the ear of the umpire when theres another "dodgy call" against us.
I hate to say it, Pocock was leaving the day after RG left and the way the board and RWA has handled it i have no problem him leaving, Ideally Id I loved for him to stay like all of us, but this could be some "BAIT" for a workclass scrum half, flanker (if needed) or #10. Give him the captain's arm band, and some cash...
My order of preference would be Hodgson, Sheehan, Wykes and then Charles. Or maybe Longbottom.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I like the charles thingo, just like when James Horwill was offered the spot. He was mouthy, a little undisciplined at times and fiery... just like our cheese.
McCalman-Hodgo's in his twilight years-and spends his share of time in the bin.
Hodgo or Nathan charles

I think the BrownDog would do a good job of it

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
