Evening all, just been checking through G&G rugby and someone has put a thread stating that one of our new players Salesi manu is playing in the ITM Cup. Also, other rumours that Force have signed or in the process of signing several NZ S15 players. Any substance ?
Ask Tim Horan, Grub Growden or someone East of the rabbit fence. We're all mushrooms over here - apparently.

Only way we are signing NZ players is if they are Wallabies eligible. The only additional foreign spot we got was for a development player, so it is not like we will suddenly be signing any big names.
Interesting about Manu, and if he isn't in the ITM cup we should look at making it happen. He'd learn a damn sight more there than in the Shute Shield, for all that Nucifora reckons it is all we could ever need. In fact, if we have to ship all our players anywhere, we should look closely at getting as many of them into the ITM and Currie Cups as possible. Better standard, and chances are it would actually cost less than Sydney as well.
all depends on who is writing the rumours in G&GR

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world aint all sunshine and rainbows. Its a very mean and nasty place and I dont care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it aint about how hard ya hit. Its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. Thats how winning is done! Now if you know what youre worth then go out and get what youre worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you aint where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that aint you! Youre better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Manu is playing ITM cup for North Harbour. No word on NZ super rugby players yet.
The silly season has begun
Any truth to the signing of Sam Two-dads (Norton-Knight) ?
Controversy corner
The silly season may have started, but we are 50% on the money and if I remember correctly didn't management state they were talking to a lot of potential players but that went onto the backburner until the new coach was found ?
pffff.. rumours are just that, if you need a few I can make some up for you.
The FACTS however you will hear first .. ain't that right TOCC !!![]()

Force in talks with Alby Mathewson
Everyone knows whether its rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense, Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Manu has signed for the North Harbour ITM Cup Team for 2012 - Great move Manu, hope you continue your impressive form.

Dear Gaffa,
Rumour has it that Alby Mathewson moved from Wellington to Auckland to get away from Piri Weepu and now that Weepu has turned up in Auckland AM is keen to move on again. Don't know if it is bad blood between them or if it is simply AM being starved of opportunities. I would'nt want to speculate about that.
Would be quite annoying especially when the guy that is taking your spot is a fat lazy sloth who should be in the gym running not at maccas getting the teams after work out meal, but when he gets back all the food has despaired and hes not quite sure where it went but is in need of a nap.
