Buy some food, a couple of rounds of drinks, car parking (tho free train travel for ticket holders is good) you are looking at a $1000 night. Now come on - that is ridiculous for 100 minutes of entertainment.
    Ripped off Ex.

We only paid $130 for world class facilities and sightlines at beautiful Subiaco Coliseum, plenty of parking, delicious fresh healthy food, top grade full strength beverages, and 80mins of exhilarating throbbing non stop fast attacking expansive running rugby

Or perhaps in the eyes of the blazered Hooray Henrys of the ARU (and the NSWRU), one Queenslander or even one Melburnian attendee (horror of horrors) at a rugby test is worth at least two Western Australian attendees. If tests played outside of NSW and Qld are really causing that much angst for the ARU and their acolytes in the media (such as Crowden), then perhaps they should come clean with the Australian rugby community and admit that as far as they are concerned, rugby union is a game for gentlemen from the right public schools of Brisbane and Sydney, and the rest of the country should f! off and be content with AFL and League ....
    Great post Trevor

Im in somewhat of a quandary. I'm not in a great place ATM, and tend to be rather cynical. I think the Wobblies have been dire, no plan, headless chooks, schoolboy errors. Quade useless, tackling still a joke. Barnes kicks like there's no tomorrow, can't take it to contact, Beale needs a complete break unfit in head and body, Robinson disinterested and 10kg overweight in gut, Dennis out of depth, Genia confused, centers AAC Horne and McCabe incapable of passing. All on display this entire season.

Yet a huge number of people are happy we won last night. That's all, we won. Doesn't matter how we (or them) played. Doesn't matter in first half we had a yellow, two posters and two fluffed tries (over the line). Or Quades charged down try. Or that gutless Quade refused to take his kick and gave it to sub Beale.

All that matters is we won.

Am I going mad as well as depressed? Did I watch another game? What the frak is going on!

If you really wish to engender more good-will and warm feelings of affection and respect for the ARU, then have a look at the prices for the Lions tour next year.
    http://www.rugby.com.au/News/NewsArt...1/Default.aspx

    Lions vs Force at sub-standard Subiaco, 5 June 2013 - $50 to $70.

Lions vs Wallabies at Etihad, Melbourne, 29 June 2012 - $175-$295.

    $295 per seat, FFS!
That's about $3 per minute (ignoring the Perth-Melbourne return air fare, accommodation, taxis etc).
(And June in Melbourne, to add to the pleasure - wet, grey and cold.)

Which part of "the boom is f!cking over and money is becoming tight" can't the brains' trust in St Leonards understand?

$100 for Platinum @ Etihad for the Welsh seems a bargain on reflection.

100 minutes of entertainment includes the "Qantas Kiddies Choir" singing I still call Australia Home. WHich is pretty standard at Sydney Bledisloe Matches.

Two National Anthems and the Haka

    40 minutes of Football

10 minutes of Walla-Rugby - highlight of the night

    40 minutes of Rugby

Based on the fact that Cooper was flat out passing intercepts all night, I think the next move was to slot it just wide, and go and collect at the TAB. Luckily he was stopped, if he played cricket the ICB would be onto him.

I'm not happy that we won! The first half stank the same as the last four years.....the fact that we won will be used by dopey bob to retain is job......event he posers on the rugby club are blaming him for the backline's problems now!

If he coaches the spring tour it will only be because of John O'Neill.
