I am planning on bringing my wife down for dinner on monday and was wondering when is a good time to show up to avoid high traffic, because I will be driving for the first time and would need parking and hate to be stuck in traffic. I will be coming from Ocean Reef.
I hear the food is excellent looking forward to it, have been since I joined the forum whilst waiting to come over here from the States.
You can scratch my back with a hacksaw!
Enjoy! After 6 the parking at the bowls club back towards the freeway comes free I believe. Used to Anyway.
Who else is there tomorrow night?

You will be going against the flow of traffic until you get to Vincent St exit so it would not be to bad.It also depends on what time you are leaving home. You may gey caught up with tunnel traffic and Camebridge St. Parking: there is some at JB;s or this is a public car park at the community centre about a 100 metres prior to JB;s. Hope this helps.
I didn't notice your avatar and I read you signature. Enjoy your dinner at JB's Mike Lange.![]()

OK. A few things. The accelerator (to go forwards) is the far right pedal, the brake (to stop) is the one next to it to the left. Turn the big circle in front of you to move sideways.
In the US you may have noticed that cars drive on the right side of the road. Here in Australia it's generally best to drive on the left side.
I think that's it... You'll pick up the rest pretty quickly...
Good luck, and have a Guinness for me!
...the boot is not on your foot (or up someone's arse), a trunk is on an elephant, a fender is a guitar (offender is in jail), the bonnet not a Scotish hat, AirCon is not a movie...

Don't ask for soda pop.
and be careful about drinking a beer atyour system will be used to American beers which are like Making love in a Canoe - F#@*ing near water.
Beers here have a real alcohol content.
Also here in Australia Lite or Gold beers refer to alcohol content and not calories.

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Its ALWAYS been 'foreign' to Swan and Emu Bitter swillers - along with VB, XXXX and whatever they drank in NSW

I appreciate all the "help" but I'm a British Australian who only spent the last 10 years in the States, but I will pass your advice on to my American wife lol
As for beer, American beers are terrible and I avoided them other than Sam Adams which is the best american beer. Over here I've tried many beers and have garnered a liking for Hahn Super Dry. Not a big fan of Tooheys or Swan. I like Hahn's smooth taste and clean aftertaste.

Sierra Nevada is ok.
Swan is no longer Swan. Hasnt been for years.
Of the mainstream here, it's Coopers and Little Creatures (CUB has ruined Redback)
