There are numerous threads on here regarding Joondalup, Force players etc etc and it seems as though Nedlands continues to slip under the radar. For a club having contested 30 straight finals series their conversion rate is deplorable (at least in the last 10 years which is all I can recall)
Premiers
2003 - Wests
2004 - Wests
2005 - Wests
2006 - Wests
2007 - Baysie
2008 - Kala
2009 - Cott
2010 - Neddies
2011 - Uni
2012 - Soaks
Neddies has secured minor premierships in this period, with 2011 being by a huge margin, but only won one flag.
What are they doing about fixing this choking problem, and it is a problem regardless of what Nedlands fans might say. Will they persit with the same coach next year despite failures in the last two seasons? Don't make this thread about Kala, we all know they have problems.
GRAB YOUR MATE!
Why don't some of you so called "fans" just talk about your own clubs rather than sniping at other clubs?
No wonder RWA have problems with Club level with all these dysfunctional ego's out there in Clubland.
I wouldn't say they choked. It's just very competitive. This year for example, I would have said Soaks were favourite. Part of the reason Neddies regularly finish top, but fail to win the GF is due to their depth. During the season, when other clubs struggle with injury, Nedlands have the luxury of having players of 1st grade calibre playing, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades, other clubs don't have that luxury so end up losing a few games during the season. So finishing top in Prems doesn't necessarily mean you are the best team in the comp.
No one remembers who won the minor premiership
As the italians say, A fish smells from the head."
Hansie?
Actually everyone says that. But they mostly say "rots". The earliest quote is in a Greek text from 1546. "A fish stinks......" is a Turkish saying first seen in a text from 1768.
Very boring stuff from Google. But not as boring your'e constant whining.
It does show one thing, though. You are a very misguided individual.

The positive is there were 7 different winners the last 7 years!
Piston it was better reading when Wests won four in a row
I am happy for you to start a positive thread about Kalamunda.
You are the one who knows about whats happening there.
Just quit the shit of sniping at other clubs.
As somebody interested in the game at all levels (played and officiating at most) and not affiliated to a club, I'm interested and understand where Kalafan is coming from. Perhaps I'm naive in that opinion but it seems to me those that jump on him straight away are the ones bringing club partisanship into this ?
It is a fact that Neddies have failed to convert many minor premierships into majors, and as an interested and hopefully considered individual, REGARDLESS OF WHICH CLUB IT HAPPENED TO, I would like to learn by considering why this is. Zed's explanation was interesting and positive, unlike some of the posters who start throwing expletives around.
it is a commentary that there has been a marked increase in members of one club posting negative comments about another as opposed to posting positive comments about their own rugby union.
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
I think Nedlands would be gutted within themselves for not converting minor premierships into a grand final win, and you might call them chokers for doing so but it is an extraordinary effort for them to be in that position so often! At least they are there... Some players might go their whole playing careers not even getting the chance to contest a final!
