As Coach was saying it sounds like a name resolution problem or DNS as it's known. Basically, behind every web page is an IP address. When you point your web browser at a name such as twf.com.au your firefox or what ever you're using needs to look up the IP address of that web page before it can navigate to it. As an eg, paste in this IP address into your web browser (no http or www etc just the number) 119.252.88.204 If our home page pops up at a time when you're having issues, then it's likely to be a DNS issue.
DNS can be a mine field to trouble shoot in a forum etc. As suggested, it's best you contact your ISP tech support for one on one instruction. Grab a cold one while you wait for Bigpond to answer...
