An update from Adelaide - today an agreement was reached between SA Rugby and myself in relation to sponsorship of a couple of players from the SA junior academy for the next five years. As part of the deal, I will be involved with the team in a management role when they head to Canberra in early April to play the curtin raiser against ACT beforw the brumbies-kings game.
Previous members of the SA program are Liam Gill, UJ Seutini, Alex Rokobaro and James Hilterbrand (Force EPS for 2013).
Hopefully there will be a few more s15 players from SA in the next years.

Awesome work Ox .. very happy to hear your deal is finalised!!
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Well done that man!
Keep them looking to the West!!
Great work Ox.

The Ox Academy head to Canberra tomorrow for a three day trip, including two games against Southern Inland (Wagga) and ACT and some testing at the AIS. The games are on Saturday and Sunday, with the squad attending the Brumbies-Kings game tomorrow night.
The training program is standard across all squads, so it will be interesting to see how the team goes against the other training centres. I'll post the results of the two games here at the end of the weekend.
A successful start for the SA boys in tour - winning 30-26 against Southern Inland

Todays result was a 57-3 loss to ACT under 18s academy. There were chances to get a couple of tries on the board but didn't quite happen. A good effort, given that most of the SA squad were aged between 14 and 16 and the age and physical size difference was quite apparent between the two teams.

The future of the ox academy looks bright in coming years with SA beating Victoria 31-19 in u12s primary school state challenge in Canberra. First time in 18 years.
